That's right, you should bake brownies! 'cause I'm very sure you've already got all the ingredients at home, yah? Chocolate chips, cocoa powder, plain flour, eggs, BUTTER, ..... (okay, now you're ready to go into the kitchen!)
Anyway, It has been raining since morning and you know, one gets lazy when it rains. So I decided to postpone my study plan to tonight (English Literature paper tmr!!) and started interacting with my laptop and food! Virtually I mean =P
I was hooked, of course. So I decided to stop being envious of all the bakers who'd been baking recently when I had buried myself among my books. I BAKED!! LOL. (6 more papers left for O'lvls! sometimes I really can't imagine my papers flying to cambridge. wows~) And you know my sacrifice was really big, I missed the halloween bakings!! Arghs =(

I know you've got these in your fridge! And cupboards =P
beautiful batter going into the oven ....

& this is how they looked after they were done!! =))

You can cut them into any sizes that please you =DD Great for picnic too yeah?
The recipe is from Bakeoff-flunkie!
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 6 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate)
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
(hey it doesn't hurt to add more chocolate chips and walnuts for the topping! =P)
1. Heat your oven to 325. Spray the bottom of a 8x8 glass pan with non-stick spray.
2. Put the butter and chocolate chips in a medium microwaveable bowl, and heat on high for 1 minute; stir. Heat for 30 seconds more and stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
3. Add the sugar and stir until the sugar and chocolate mixture is completely combined.
4. Add the vanilla and eggs, and stir until the mixture is completely combined.
5. In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, cocoa powder and flour; mix well to break up any lumps in the cocoa powder. Add to the chocolate mixture and stir until completely combined.
6. Bake for 26-28 minutes, or until the top of the brownies are flat and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean (you want a few moist crumbs to cling to the toothpick). Cool completely (which I didn't =x COME ON, I COULDNT WAIT!) before cutting to get the best looking pieces.
Oh wait, you should also bake brownies on a warm, sunny day too! Top it with a scoop of vanilla icecream and that makes it one of the bestest dessert under the sun ever! :D

A slice for Mr Cow!

Brownies go well with tea. You don't want to grow fat with brownies! LOL.

And you can use a cookie cutter to do the job. I saved these cute little ones for you xD
Some tips for brownie success:
1) use quality ingredients
2) add chocolate chips!
3) grease baking dish w butter and cocoa
4) use less baking powder - its gives a cake-like consistency
5) top it w icecream :)
6) USE THE CORRECT SIZE PAN
That's all for the day. Easy brownies for you and me! They didn't take long at all =D
P.S.
I'll moving to my new domain soon, in the midst of registration! But no worries, dollydoesdesserts will still direct you to my new page =D Take good care!

Good luck with the papers...
